Today turned out to be a great day showing property in Orange Beach, AL. I showed four properties overall to a very nice couple and their daughter. Due to the continual rain that we've had the past week, I was a little worried that we all would get drenched. However, the Sun God was in our favor, and we even had to wear our sunglasses!
Two of the properties that I visited were in Perdido Grande. Many of the condos that I show are right on the beach or maybe just a block or two off the beach, and these properties are geared more towards buyers who not only want to have a nice place to stay when they visit but also to use an investment. I find that most buyers who want to live full time near the coast often find themselves searching for homes or condos a mile or two from the beach. Perdido Grande is a great example of that style of living. The great thing about our area is that the Gulf is not the only water view that we have to offer. Perdido Grande backs up to Terry Cove with direct access through Perdido Pass that will take boaters right to the Gulf.
