Every once in awhile, I like to choose two condominiums that are similar, put them side by side, and present the facts for whose is the best. After doing some earlier research today on The Beach Club of Gulf Shores, I thought that a perfect match-up would be against Caribe The Resort of Orange Beach.
Both of these Alabama Gulf Coast condos are exceptional properties, have awesome amenities, and are very popular among full-time residents as well as for tourism.
Here's how it turned out . . .
Caribe The Resort is located just across the Perdido Pass bridge going east towards Florida on Perdido Beach Blvd. There are tons of things to do within a very short drive with lots of great shopping, restaurants, bars, and water sports. You are literally minutes away from everything you would want.

The Beach Club of Gulf Shores is in a very different part of town but equally as desirable, depending on what you want. This resort occupies a huge parcel of land (86 acres) down Fort Morgan Rd. The entrance to the property is approx. 12 miles west of Route 59 or Gulf Shores Pkwy. This part of Fort Morgan is largely occupied by single family homes so, when you are driving towards the complex, it should be hard to miss.
Features and Amenities for The Beach Club:
- 13 miles from The Hangout
- Sits directly on the Gulf with a very wide private beach space
- The Beach Club's location is in a very quiet section with much less traffic, however, everything is far away including grocery stores

Well, there you go. What a good match up! The biggest difference that I see is the location of the two resorts. Would you rather live in the middle of all the action, or do you mind a 20-minute drive to all the action? Either way, both Caribe The Resort and The Beach Club are fantastic options for those who want great views and awesome amenities. Please let me know if you need any more information on these resorts or if you would like to see any of the condos for sale in person.
