Where we locals call the "T" is going to be the hot spot over the next few years for a major facelift at the beach in Gulf Shores. The three phases of the Revitalization Project will take place over the next three years during the off-seasons with the first phase starting in the second week of November 2016.
Located at the intersection of Route 59 and Beach Blvd (where The Hangout is), this epicenter is the hub for everyone who comes to our awesome beaches. Already, you will find a great selection of shops, restaurants, and of course the white sandy beaches, but Gulf Shores is now on a mission to make this hub more safe for the public and more appealing to the eyes. Changes will be dramatic with improved parking, a newly built public safety building, and impressive boardwalk for both pedestrians and bicyclists.
